Compassionate Dentistry
Our training allows us to read a child’s body language to help them, even when your child can’t express those feelings themselves.
When caring for children with special needs, our overall approach to dentistry doesn't change. Your child’s oral health and wellbeing are our priority. We are happy to customize treatment plans to accommodate any issues you may be facing at home: brushing, flossing, dietary concerns, addressing aversions to food textures and tastes, etc. We are always empathetic to the needs of the caregiver as well as the child and show support in any way we can.
By visiting us, you can rest assured that your child will be in the care of someone who can give them the gentle, respectful treatment they deserve.
Our office’s treatment rooms are designed to accommodate children with special needs. We can administer care in an environment that's accessible and comfortable for your child.
Children with special needs may be at larger risk for issues such as teeth grinding, delay in teeth coming in, holding food in their mouths, and more. During your visit, we will consider several aspects of their lives, including current medical treatments, dietary concerns, and daily activities. Our team can work with you to create a personalized treatment to fit you and your child’s lives. We encourage parents and guardians to reach out with questions and concerns prior to your appointment. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make you and your child more comfortable.
